4th Visit - Slovenia

Our fourth Comenius meeting took place in Bogojina, Slovenia from 1st to 4th October, 2013. Three students from 4ºB ESO: Oliver Kolbeck, Andrea Almeida and Sara López , has accompanied us in another wonderful experience. Teachers involved in the project this time were: Paco Sosa (Maths), Beatriz Díaz (English) and Sandra Reyes (Spanish language).

We started our trip in Graz, Austria, where we spent the weekend previous our meeting in Slovenia.

TUESDAY, 1st October 2013

We were received by the Mayor and the School Principals after visiting the school in Bogojina.

WEDNESDAY, 2nd October 2013

We started with a visit to a pottery workshop in Filovci.

Also in Filovci, we were received by Jože Gutman's family, one of the teachers in Bogojina school. 

We continued with a walking tour to lake Bukovnica, followed by a snack in the nature. A wonderful walk through the woods!

For lunch, we were offered bograč, a traditional stew. But before that, we helped Jože with grape harvest and tasted fresh grape juice.

THRURDAY, 3rd October 2013

Today is a long day! We travel more than 230 kms to visit Postojna Cave, world famous karst cave. It's really a wonderful experience.

After lunch we visited Ljubljana, capital of Slovenia.
